It starts with a very hot and sunny morning at the Bedok Stadium. Today is our Sports Carnival. It was rather tiring although I did not take part in the race, I was asked to be Mr.Irwan’s Runner or as I call it, his Personal Assistant. Kinda fun tho. Got to play with his walkie-talkie. Helped a little bit with the race like you know the number tags distribution and all. (Very petty stuffs, I know). While some other NCC cadets like Hafeez and Shawn Jaffrey were deployed to the gates to act as the Security Guards, to stop students from escaping the stadium.
Right after Friday Prayer’s, the ‘gang’, we went to Bedok, Tampines IKEA and Giant to search for our Inter Disciplinary Group Project Work’s materials that we are going to use to make our product which is a drinking bucket which has a compartment for you to place your popcorns. Target customers: Cinema goers. Smart idea right? Really tiring, went around IKEA, it was really futile, we were looking for a plastic bucket kinda thing but to no avail. And what made us more tired was when we had to search for Siddiq who went missing. Luckily, they stopped me in time before I report to the Information Counter. haha. =D
Giant was crowded with some Temasek Secondary School kids who we thought are there for an excursion trip, initially. However, actually they were there for some charity event. Which is about breaking the World Guinness Record for Largest Number of People Playing Cards or something. Don’t really know what so charitable about that tho. But the trip there was wasted too. Ended up in Tampines Mall and then the legendary, Big Bookshop. Well, at the end of the day, we got ourselves a A3 Plastic Card Holder…
